Some Washington insiders are speculating President Biden may have offered such a broad pardon to his son Hunter to avoid exposing his own misdeeds. Matt Continetti with the American Enterprise Institute says he expected Biden to do something for his son, but not a pardon. Especially one so broad it goes well beyond the tax-evasion and gun charges for which Hunter was found guilty. Continetti says providing immunity dating back to 2014, the pardon raises new questions about what the president himself may have to hide from his own involvement in a decades-long influence peddling scheme critics call  “Biden Inc.”.
