Biden highlights lower prescription drug prices

President Biden used a trip to New Hampshire to highlight his administration’s bringing down of some prescription drug prices. The president decried high prescription drug prices — calling them outrageous” and “immoral.”But he also touted a new rule that will cap out-of-pocket drug costs for seniors on Medicare at 2-thousand dollars starting next year. He emphasized that Vice President Harris cast the tie-breaking vote  on the Inflation Reduction Act, which lowered other healthcare costs. The president’s appearance here had an unmistakable political message for voters — exactly two weeks before Election Day.
