VERBATIM:  Fewer members of the general population are Christian these days.  Church attendance and other spiritual practices are in decline, but there’s one thing people still do and that’s PRAY.  According to new numbers from the Barna Group, 73% of American adults pray at least once a week and Christians pray a lot more.  As the Barna report puts it “Spiritual longing remains active even when institutional participation wavers.”  MH REPORTING
