9 Americans killed in the weekend Hamas attacks on Israel

At least nine Americans are among the dead in the Hamas attack against Israel. The State Department confirms that the death toll of American citizens is at least nine, and says an undetermined number of American citizens remain missing and unaccounted for. Spokesman Matthew Miller says the United States is in touch with families “and providing all appropriate consular assistance.”
