The Biden administration has released its list of 10 prescription medicines that will be subject to the first-ever price negotiations by Medicare. Drugs on the list include big-selling blood thinner Eliquis, diabetes treatment Jardiance, and eight other medications. The price negotiation process was authorized under the Inflation Reduction Act. However, any lower prices won’t take effect for three years, and the plan already faces lawsuits from drugmakers.
