Top-seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime extended his hot streak on Thursday, topping eighth-seeded Jiri Lehecka 6-3, 7-6 (2) in the quarterfinals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships in the United Arab Emirates.

Auger-Aliassime won for the 11th time in 12 matches this month as he seeks to reach a third straight final. The Canadian is also looking to go one step further than last year in Dubai, where he fell in the championship match in 2025.

Auger-Aliassime compiled a 16-7 edge in aces over his Czech Republic opponent on Thursday. Lehecka never broke serve in the match.

Next up for Auger-Aliassime is third-seeded Russian Daniil Medvedev, who trounced the United States’ Jenson Brooksby 6-2, 6-1 in the quarterfinals.

The other semifinal will feature fifth-seeded Russian Andrey Rublev, who downed France’s Arthur Rinderknech 6-2, 6-4, and the Netherlands’ Tallon Griekspoor, who ousted sixth-seeded Jakub Mensik of the Czech Republic 6-3, 3-6, 6-2.

BCI Seguros Chile Open

Third-seeded Sebastian Baez, a three-time finalist in the event at Santiago, Chile, got through to the quarterfinals with a 7-6 (2), 1-6, 7-5 victory over Chile’s Cristian Garin.

The Argentine won the Santiago title in 2024 but fell in the championship match in 2022 and 2025. He prevailed on Thursday thanks in large part to saving seven of Garin’s eight break points.

Another Argentine, top-seeded Francisco Cerundolo, dumped Denmark’s Elmer Moller 6-2, 6-2. Eighth-seeded Alejandro Tabilo of Chile overtook Argentina’s Thiago Agustin Tirante 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, and the United States’ Emilio Nava beat Paraguayan qualifier Adolfo Daniel Vallejo 7-5, 6-3.

Abierto Mexicano Telcel

Fifth-seeded Flavio Cobolli of Italy shook off two set points for Chinese qualifier Yibing Wu in the opening set and won 7-6 (4), 6-1 in the quarterfinals at Acapulco, Mexico.

Cobolli was a perfect 8-for-8 on Wu’s break points, including the two that could have won the first set and two more in the match’s final game.

The United States’ Frances Tiafoe, the eighth seed, advanced past Italy’s Mattia Bellucci 6-3, 6-4, and Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic defeated France’s Terence Atmane 6-3, 6-3. In the final match of the night, Brandon Nakashima of the U.S. rallied to beat sixth-seeded Valentin Vacherot of Monaco 2-6, 6-2, 6-3.
