(SRN NEWS)-The state has agreed to settle with a Christian woman who filed suit over a requirement that she affirm the LGBT lifestyle in order to adopt children. Jessica Bates, the widowed mother of five kids, had been seeking to adopt more when she came up against Oregon’s LGBT requirement. Alliance Defending Freedom represents her and says “children suffer when the government excludes people of faith from foster care because of the state’s own ideological crusade.”
