(SRN NEWS) A physician assistant who was fired for refusing to assist on a sex-change operation has settled a lawsuit against University of Michigan Health-West for 410,000 dollars.  First Liberty represented Valerie Kloosterman and has issued a statement to the Christian Post saying “Title Seven prohibits employers from discriminating against and punishing employees for their faith.  Employers cannot drive out people like Valerie just because of their sincere religious beliefs.”
