(SRN NEWS)-It comes from the Barna Group and the big take-away is that amongst the general public, small is better.  The Barna poll finds that 61% of Americans say they have a high level of trust in small, local houses of worship — compared to 31% who trust mega-churches.  People are a lot more likely to say that they trust their local pastor than famous clergymen with a national profile.  A lot of respondents put their level of trust in churches right up there with family.
