(SRN NEWS)-Some say it could serve as a model for the U.S. The British statute requires online pornographers to verify that each of their customers is at least 18 years old — something the federal government in this country does not do. If a porn site violates the new U.K. law, it faces a fine of 25 million dollars. Pro-family advocates on both sides of the Atlantic are urging lawmakers to put some restrictions on pornography, which is viewed by millions of children every year.
