(SRN NEWS)- The Pew Research study finds that Americans who are the most active in politics are also the most active in religious life. This group, which makes up just 9% of the U.S. population is more likely to volunteer, attend local government meetings, donate to political causes, follow the news closely AND attend religious services than any other group. A second demographic, representing 28%, is religiously active but not politically.
