(SRN NEWS)- It comes from the Pew Research Center and it examines the faith group that nearly a quarter of the population belongs to. The study finds that the number of Catholics in the U.S. is declining and that more people are leaving Catholicism for Protestant denominations than the other way around. Amongst those Americans who convert to the Catholic faith, the most common reason for doing so is that they have married a Catholic.
