A battle over Satan in Iowa

(srn news)- A federal judge has ruled that the state must allow the Satanic Temple to set up a display inside the Capitol building at the height of the Christmas season.  State officials had successfully rejected the Temple’s applications for the display in recent years, but now the judge has issued an injunction.  This case is likely just the first of many that crop up this time of year as satanists seek to put their stamp on Christmas in various states.
