All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams, who has missed the last four San Francisco games because of an ankle injury, is likely done for the season, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said Wednesday.

“I mean, if he gets back to healthy, we’d play him,” Shanahan said. “But it’s not like that right now, so it’s getting closer to being that way.”

San Francisco (6-8) has regular-season games remaining at Miami on Sunday, at home against Detroit on Dec. 30 and at Arizona on a day to be determined.

Williams, 36, has not played since the 20-17 home loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 17. He has started all 10 games he has played this season and played 98 percent (649) of the offensive snaps in those games.

Jaylon Moore has stepped in for Williams, who was not expected to practice on Wednesday. Moore, 26, was a fifth-round pick of the 49ers in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Western Michigan.

Williams is an 11-time Pro Bowl selection (2012-18, 2020-23) and three-time first-team All-Pro (2021-23). Washington selected him fourth overall in the 2010 draft out of Oklahoma.

Shanahan also said Wednesday that rookie running back Isaac Guerendo, who sustained a hamstring injury in the loss last Sunday to the Los Angeles Rams, will not practice.

Linebacker Dre Greenlaw, who returned to action last week from an Achilles injury in last season’s Super Bowl, will be limited at practice, Shanahan said. Greenlaw left the game against the Rams in the third quarter with soreness in that area and his knee. All-Pro defensive end Nick Bosa (hip/oblique) also will be a limited participant.
