White House unveils Christmas theme, decorations

The White House has unveiled its theme and decorations for the Christmas holidays. “We the People” is First Lady Jill Biden’s theme for Christmas at the White House. A copy of the Declaration of Independence is on display in the library. This year’s gingerbread White House includes a sugar cookie replica of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, where the Declaration of Independence was signed. The executive mansion is decked out for the season featuring more than 83-thousand twinkling lights and 77 Christmas trees. Some 50-thousand visitors are expected to pass through the White House during the holidays,
