Trump to surrender, be arraigned in NYC on Tuesday

Former President Trump will be formally arrested and arraigned next Tuesday in New York. Court officials in Manhattan have confirmed that Trump is expected to turn himself in Tuesday afternoon and that he’ll be booked mostly like anyone else facing criminal charges. The booking would include a mug shot and fingerprinting. However, the former president is not expected to be put in handcuffs. The historic scene also will include Trump’s appearance before a judge, where Trump’s lawyers say he will plead not guilty.
