VERBATIM: Many congregations are back up to full strength after people scattered during the pandemic. But Life Way Research reports that a lot of people still haven’t come back. Before Covid, 33% of Christian adults in this country were going to church once a week. Now only 25% are. Life Way spokesman Aaron Earls says “For the vast majority of still missing churchgoers, their absence is an unintentional new habit.
