The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee says it will hold hearings soon, but gave no date. Committee chairman Democrat Tom Carper [D-DEL] and Republican ranking member Shelley Moore Capito [R-W.VA.] say the hearings will focus on the local, state, and federal response in the immediate aftermath of the February 3rd accident. Scientists from the CDC plan to visit the site on Saturday.
