Republicans are accusing self-avowed Socialist senator Bernie Sanders [I-VT] of playing fast-and-loose with hearings on reducing the price of prescription drugs. Republican senator Bill Cassidy [R-LA] says during weeks of negotiations on bills to reduce drug prices, Senator Sanders agreed that certain policies would be excluded. At this week’s hearing however he learned Sanders would allow the proposals, but in the form of amendments.
