Former Vice President Mike Pence is taking “full responsibility” after classified documents were found at his Indiana home. Pence told a university audience that “those hose classified documents should not have been” in his personal residence and, despite what he thought was proper handling of sensitive material, “mistakes were made.” The former vice president said he hopes that people realize that he acted swiftly to correct the error. He said he had directed his counsel to work with the National Archives, Department of Justice, and Congress, and is pledging to fully cooperate in any investigation.
