Senator Joe Manchin [D-WV] has both parties guessing as the popular red-state Democrat says he’s keeping his options open for 2024. Manchin refused to rule out a bid for the White House saying only that “right now” he’s not running for his party’s nomination. Any departure by Manchin from the Senate would be cheered by Republicans.
