Hogan “won’t commit” to backing Trump if he’s GOP nominee

Former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is clarifying remarks he made about supporting a possible Donald Trump presidential nomination. Hogan, who is considering his own presidential run in 2024, was asked by Hugh Hewitt on the Salem Radio Network whether he’d back Trump next year if the ex-president were the GOP nominee. He suggested he would. But after the broadcast, Hogan wrote on Twitter that he “won’t commit” to supporting Trump. The former governor said he “fully expect[s] to support the Republican nominee” and doesn’t believe it will be Trump.
