Nearly half of Republicans responding to a Sienna College Research poll say Santos should step down over charges his campaign was riddled with lies and that he may be guilty of campaign fundraising violations. 49% of Republicans say Santos should resign, only 26% say he should keep his job. Oddly more Democrats-20%-than Republicans-15%-share a favorable view of Santos. He’s been brushing off reporters questions saying only that he’s focused now on serving the American people.
